About Me

I have dreamed about singing and entertaining the world since I was a little girl. Since I was young, I have been involved with choir for over ten years and working with vocal coaches. In middle school, I joined my church’s worship band and became a vocalist while playing piano and guitar on most Sundays, and I am still involved with the worship team today. During high school, I also had the privilege to be a vocalist on two albums for my church called Hill Country Bible Church Kids Worship Vol. 1 & 2. Before my sophomore year of high school, I was interested in the possibility of doing musical theatre ever since I saw Wicked on one of my choir field trips. I was in awe of each vocalist's power and how everyone onstage, all the art made by humans, created a whole new world that came to life.

The summer before my sophomore year, I decided to attend a theatre camp run by Christian Youth Theater (CYT Austin). We did the show Off To Neverland, and I got to play the character Wendy for my first theatre experience. Ever since that experience, I had this rush of passion and excitement, to where I knew this was something I could not miss out on again. So, from then on until I graduated high school, I did ten shows. The shows I did and the characters I played: The King And I as Butri, The Sound of Music as Sister Sophia, Mary Poppins as Winifred Banks, The Little Mermaid as Adella, Bye Bye Birdie as Kim McAfee, Singing In The Rain as Ensemble, Once Upon A Mattress as Lady Larkin, Godspell as Joanne, Fiddler On The Roof as Chava, and Joseph And His Technicolor Dreamcoat as Narrator. After graduating high school, I did some shows at Georgetown Palace in the Mama Mia and Wizard of Oz ensemble. By attending the Concordia University of Texas, I have recently been in a musical called The Spitfire Grill as the lead Percy Talbott. A judge for the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival watched our show and granted me the honor of being an Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Nominee for Percy Talbott. The university president also awarded me Achievement in Theatre Performance for The Spitfire Grill. This coming fall, I will begin the process of the competition for the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship.

My future aspiration is to dip my toes in all my passions in musical theatre, film acting, voice acting, commercial work, theatre/film production work, songwriting, producing music, and exploring the world with hopefully my passions involved. Here’s to the never-ending inspiration of creativity in all art forms of the world.
